After consulting with campus administrators and neighboring school districts, and due to the potential for weather to move into our area between 4:00–7:00 PM on Friday, we are taking the following precautionary steps. Students will be released at 12:30 PM on Friday, and buses will run as normal to ensure that all students and employees are able to arrive home safely before 4:00 PM. Due to the size of our district and the distances our bus drivers must travel, it is important that we take all necessary safety measures to protect our students and staff. If weather conditions develop earlier than anticipated, additional decisions will be made with safety as the top priority, ensuring that all students and employees are able to return home safely before 4:00 PM.

early dismissal

With the great snowpocalypse of 2026 breathing down our necks, we thought it fitting to remind our community how to stay informed of school closures and early dismissals.

Take today or tomorrow to get ahold of your child’s campus and confirm that we have accurate contact information in our database, so you’ll be prepared when the inevitable all-call comes!

There are several ways to stay up to date and be alerted the moment we send notifications about school closures, early dismissals, or any other school-related communication.

• Download the Lincoln CSD app for push notifications
• Text/Email/Voicemail
• Check Facebook or the school website for updates

May you be guided by peace as you trek into the madness of Walmart's and Dollar Stores to acquire milk and bread to sustain you through these trying times.

'Experience Days' at Lincoln Middle School take learning beyond the classroom. Throughout the year, students participate in six full-day, hands-on experiences that connect classroom learning to the real world.

From local businesses and college visits to nature, agriculture, health sciences, and creative and technical skills, Experience Days expose students to new interests, careers, and possibilities.

These experiences help students discover what excites them, envision future goals, and see how education opens doors beyond school.

We are facing challenges for our children unlike any previous generation. They are overstimulated by the digital world they have inherited, navigating constant pressure and anxiety about their future. At Lincoln, our goal is to silence that noise so creativity and imagination can flourish, allowing students to be kids again, to try and fail, to get back up, and to build resilience.

Students, we believe in your ability to #WriteYourStory, and our educators are committed to providing a safe environment where every student can be truly #CustomMade.

LCSD Picture Day Fall 2025
We are celebrating Farm-to-School Month this October by featuring locally grown apples from Arkansas farmers, made possible through our partnership with Spring Creek Food Hub.

This week, our 6th and 7th graders are taking part in a fun Apple-a-Day Challenge. Each day, they visit the Spring Creek Food Hub table to grab an apple. When they bring back their core, they get their card punched, and after four punches, their card goes into a drawing for prizes.

A special thank you to Spring Creek Food Hub for helping us celebrate healthy eating, local farmers, and the joy of fresh fruit.

Earlier today, a fire alarm was activated in the Middle School and Administration Building. As a precaution, all staff and students were evacuated, and the Lincoln Fire Department responded. After inspection, the buildings were cleared and it was determined there was no danger. Everyone returned safely to class and normal operations have resumed. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Thursday, October 10, is the last day forms will be accepted to ensure an adequate supply of vaccine is on hand.
