Due to a citywide water outage in Lincoln and with no estimated time for restoration, students will be released early today.

Bus routes will begin running at 12:30 p.m. at the latest.

Parents may come to the school to begin picking up their students at this time.

Due to a delivery delay, meals scheduled for pick-up today (December 29) did not arrive as expected. Meal pick-up will now take place tomorrow from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, behind the Lincoln Middle School kitchen by the playground and greenhouse.

Join us for the Community Alliance meeting next Tuesday! We will meet in the Admin Conference Room at 107 East School Street on November 18 at 8:30 AM. This is a great opportunity for our community to come together, share ideas, and strengthen partnerships. Everyone is encouraged to attend!

Due to ongoing road construction and paving work on Highway 62, we will experience delays this afternoon with bus routes. Please be patient as our drivers navigate the construction safely. Students may arrive home later than normal. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation while this work continues.

In case you didn't know, last Thursday was 'Boss Day' and we celebrated some great leaders in the district last week.

Earlier today, a fire alarm was activated in the Middle School and Administration Building. As a precaution, all staff and students were evacuated, and the Lincoln Fire Department responded. After inspection, the buildings were cleared and it was determined there was no danger. Everyone returned safely to class and normal operations have resumed. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

The Health Department will be in our district on Tuesday, October 16, to administer flu shots. Forms went home with your student, but if you need another copy, please contact your building nurse. Thursday, October 10, is the last day forms will be accepted to ensure an adequate supply of vaccine is on hand.

We are closely monitoring the weather. If severe weather develops before dismissal, buses will be held until it is safe to continue, and we will keep you informed. Once buses are on their routes, we’ll remain in contact with drivers and provide updates as needed.

We are excited to invite you to our first Community Alliance meeting of the school year on Tuesday, September 23rd. 8:30 am in the Lincoln Administration Building.
