With the great snowpocalypse of 2026 breathing down our necks, we thought it fitting to remind our community how to stay informed of school closures and early dismissals.
Take today or tomorrow to get ahold of your child’s campus and confirm that we have accurate contact information in our database, so you’ll be prepared when the inevitable all-call comes!
There are several ways to stay up to date and be alerted the moment we send notifications about school closures, early dismissals, or any other school-related communication.
• Download the Lincoln CSD app for push notifications
• Text/Email/Voicemail
• Check Facebook or the school website for updates
May you be guided by peace as you trek into the madness of Walmart's and Dollar Stores to acquire milk and bread to sustain you through these trying times.

Students, we believe in your ability to #WriteYourStory, and our educators are committed to providing a safe environment where every student can be truly #CustomMade.

As part of the state-required community service hours for graduation, Lincoln High School has partnered with the festival to give our students the perfect opportunity to both serve and celebrate.
On Friday, October 3rd, all LHS students are encouraged to volunteer and take part in the festivities while earning their community service hours. Students who volunteer will be counted as on “school business,” and their semester test exemption will not be affected.
While regular classes and scheduled field trips will still be held on campus, any student who wishes to earn community service hours at the Apple Festival has full permission to do so. There’s no better way to give back than by supporting the longest-running festival in our community’s history!
📍 Sign-in Booths: Located under the gazebo at “General Information” on the square, where students can log their volunteer hours.
📸 Social Media: Local pages will highlight our students enjoying the event—apple slices, dumplings, and all!
If you have any questions, please call us at 479-824-7310.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the square as we celebrate this Lincoln tradition.
As always—Feed the Wolf!
